Weighted vs. Unweighted GPA
Both use: Total Grade Points ÷ Number of Classes = GPA
- Unweighted GPA — all classes treated equally, 4.0 scale.
- Weighted GPA — Honors/AP/IB earn extra points, can exceed 4.0.
